NODCC Research Funding Application Process

The National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum (NODCC) is dedicated to advancing research that enhances understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the corpus callosum (DCC). Submit your Letter of Intent (LOI) once applications open on June 1st. After your LOI has been reviewed, you will receive a response from the NODCC and the PAC outlining the next steps and any requests for additional information. We look forward to supporting innovative research that enhances knowledge and improves the lives of individuals with DCC.

We provide funding to support scientific studies, conferences, and collaborative research efforts. Below is the step-by-step process for applying for research funding through NODCC.

Step 1: Eligibility Criteria and Submission of LOI

Before applying, ensure your research aligns with the NODCC’s mission and priorities. Research activities supported by NODCC may include:

  • Publication Costs – Journal submission fees and open-access publishing.
  • Conference Support – Funding for presentations, attendance, and NODCC research symposiums.
  • Collaborative Meetings – Travel and accommodations for in-person researcher collaborations.
  • Researcher Stipends – Compensation for NODCC-related work, including data analysis and manuscript preparation.
  • Research Project Costs

Submit a Letter of Intent (LOI)

  • Outline your research objectives, methodology, and expected impact.

Step 2: Full Application (by invitation only)

Submit your application via the online form on the NODCC website, including:

  • Research Proposal (PDF format)
  • CV of the Principal Investigator (PDF format)
  • Any additional supporting documents

Applications must be submitted before the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

Deadlines: July 1 and December 31

Step 3: Review & Selection

Applications will be reviewed by the NODCC Research Committee, which will assess:

  • Scientific merit and feasibility of the study.
  • Potential impact on DCC research and treatment.
  • Alignment with NODCC’s mission and funding priorities.

Applicants may be contacted for additional information or clarification during the review process.
