Is it just us, or does the world feel a bit like a roller coaster lately? Constant busyness, responsibilities, upheaval, and a news cycle to make one dizzy is enough to leave us all needing mental and physical rest. One of the best places to take said rest is in the welcoming arms of gratefulness. At any given moment, despite all that’s going on, we have so very much to be grateful for, and we hope you’ll take a needed pause with us this Thanksgiving to bask in the blessings that surround us. To inspire you, here are some replies from members of our very own NODCC community, sharing what’s on their mind this Thanksgiving. We hope you and your family take a moment to sit with the reality of all we have, and that you feel the glow of contentedness as you do.

“I am grateful for this holiday season for my family and my friends. I am also very thankful and grateful for this holiday season that I got to attend my very first National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum Conference This year with both my parents and that I got to meet some incredible people out of it and learn so much about my NODCC diagnosis and disorder as well. I am also thankful for this holiday season that I got to meet a awesome and forever friend this year at the conference by the name of Connor O. who I have stayed in touch with nonstop since the conference started back in June and who I am very glad thankful and grateful to have found him as a forever friend to have in my life. Thank you for being such a great friend, Connor.”  – Chris L.
