Hello Families and Friends of the National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum (NODCC)!
We invite you to join us at the 2024 Disorders of the Corpus Callosum (DCC) Conference, which will be held Thursday, June 27 through Sunday, June 30 in Chicago, Illinois.
We have designed the conference to enable you to learn and gather information, participate in discussions, and make invaluable connections with other families. The conference consists of plenary tracks with sessions focusing on issues relative to: Medical, Therapies, Behaviors, Development, Education, Financial Planning, and Community Life, and you can move between the tracks as suits your interests.
The conference schedule features 60 informative lectures and discussion groups. Sessions include in-depth information on DCC diagnoses, genetics, prognoses and behaviors; seizures and medications management; speech, physical and occupational therapies; strategies for education, behavior management, nutrition, and social involvement; and many other sessions with valuable content. In addition there are numerous discussion groups and panel presentations in which you can meet and share with other conference attendees, and panel sessions for you to ask questions of Teen and Adult Siblings and Adults Living with a DCC.

Highlights of the Disorders of the Corpus Callosum Conference 2024 Include:
- Lectures on Thursday focused on DCC research and presented by members of the International Research Consortium for the Corpus Callosum and Cerebral Connectivity (IRC5) who are the prominent scientists in the international study of callosal disorders.
- Lectures throughout Friday and Saturday on the medical, genetic, and behavioral aspects of disorders of the corpus callosum, and Sunday morning 2-hour Q&A sessions with the country’s leading scientists studying disorders of the corpus callosum, and who have supported the NODCC since the founding of the organization.

- The 3-day Adults Living with a DCC Program is designed for adults (18+) ONLY who have been diagnosed with a disorder of the corpus callosum. Join us in group discussions and share your life experiences, difficulties, and successes with other adults living with a DCC. Sessions are moderated by professionals on a variety of topics, and are intended to be highly interactive with candid discussions, question/answer time, role-playing sessions, and a fun off-site activity.

- This year we are excited to again offer a special 3-day Teen and Adult Siblings Program (13+) with opportunities to privately discuss in small groups living with a sibling diagnosed with a DCC, understanding their diagnosis, developing relationships with siblings, and enjoying group social activities, including a fun off-site activity.

- Back by popular demand the Kids and Teens Camps will once again be supervised by Corporate Kids Events for registered attendees aged 2–17 (limited to 60 children and 20 teens on a first-registered basis). The camps offer a multitude of activities, games and crafts, and are open to children living with a DCC and their siblings. Camps are included in children and teens registration fees, and funded through generous sponsor donations to the NODCC.

Conference Registration and Lodging
Through the generosity of those who participate in the auction, the kindness of our professional speakers who donate their time and expertise, and the financial gifts from our sponsors and supporters, the NODCC is able to offer an affordable conference registration fee (including meals) :
- $450.00 per person at the door
Registration fee includes:
- Admission to the 4-Day Conference (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) including 60 lectures and discussion groups
- Thursday evening Family Meet and Greet with a no host bar
- Friday afternoon lunch, Friday evening dinner and special evening program
- Saturday afternoon lunch and Saturday evening dinner and dance
- Exhibitors providing a variety of helpful information and services
- Complimentary childcare in the Kids & Teens Camps for registered attendees aged 2–17
- The hotel will provide a cash and carry breakfast cart on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings in the conference area
The 2024 conference will be held at the at the Marriott Chicago O’Hare located at 8535 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631.
The Marriott Chicago O’Hare is located only four miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport, and a five minute walk to the Blue Line Train Station providing easy access to downtown Chicago. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service, and the NODCC self-parking rate is 6.00 USD per day.

CANCELLATION POLICY – All registrations must be received in the NODCC Main Office no later than June 5, 2024. Thereafter, registration will be only available at the door for $450.00 per person and will not include meals. 100% cancellation refund if requested in writing prior to April 15, 2024, 50% cancellation refund if requested in writing between April 16, 2024 and June 1, 2024. No refunds for cancellations received after June 1, 2024.
